27.5 Volt DC To 115 Volt AC Motor Generator



The manufacturer of most of the Motor Generators is Bendix Aviation Corp. and the Nomenclature is: Type M B 2-U.S.A.F. Dwg 53B6227. This surplus Motor Generator converts 27.5 Volt DC input to 115 Volt AC output.

A 27.5 Volt DC, 165 amp motor drives the generator which in turn develops 115 Volts AC, at 400 Cycles, 2.5 KVA, with a power factor of .90. The motor RPM is not on the name plate but we guess it to be around 4000 RPM.

This motor generator can power any 115 Volt AC
400 Hz device.

It can also power non-inductive 60 Hz AC devices such as light bulbs, heaters, floodlights, etc. There is no power receptacle to accommodate standard 115 volt devices.

This unit is operational and in good condition, despite a few dents/cracks and scratches.

Shipping weight is approximately 68 lbs each.
