(2) - 12 Volt DC PM Electric Robotic Motors
Two powerful surplus Fractional HP Permanent Magnet 12 volt DC Electric Motors Mo. #CP-12-17 that appear to be unused. The reversible rotation motor is manufactured by Mamco Corp. Motor Div. To reverse shaft direction, simply swap the two wires, which can be done by a single double pole double throw (DPDT) relay. 

We don't know the motors HP or RPM, but it really winds up and we couldn't stall it with a leather glove on our hand (if you buy one, please don't try it at home). The motor is ideal for a traction (propulsion) motor for a Robot or to operate a robotic weapon. Increasing or decreasing the voltage allows you to directly control the speed (RPM) of the shaft. 

The frame is flat on one side (see the picture on the left) which facilitates mounting it to a platform with a band. Overall dimensions: 6-5/8" LOA (including the shaft) x 3-1/4" Dia. The worm shaft is 1-3/8" Long x 5/16" Diameter. Check the Grainger catalog for a shaft extension with set screws or an Arbor that should work nicely with this shaft. Don't let the Worm Shaft frighten you! The sketch on the right depicts how an adapter (with a set screw or roll pin) can be fabricated, that slides over the worm shaft thus allowing you to drive wheels or what ever you have with the straight shaft portion of the adapter.
