1 HP 1 Phase AC Electric Motor New GE
This is a "brand new" factory surplus 1 HP General Electric Model #5KIT40143D motor, originally designed to be the "work-horse" for treadmills. It turns CCW (counter clockwise looking at the shaft end) and is not reversible.
The motor operates on 120 volt AC, 11 amp, at 1750 rpm, 60 hz, single phase.
It has an open type frame for easy air flow and a cradle mount. The dimensions are 6 1/2" long, 6" wide, 6 1/2" high not including the shaft which is 1/2" diameter by 3 1/2" long with a flat on one side.
!!!! Important !!!! !!!! Importante !!!! One of your two - 110 volt wires connects to the terminal adjacent to the red wire and the other to the terminal adjacent to the blue wire (see the picture on the right).
