We offer (subject to prior sale) a used 40.5 HP Hercules 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine Model DIX-4D for sale. This engine can develop plenty of power for your application, convert existing equipment from gasoline to diesel, or replace that tired Generator Set engine. It is equipped with a 24 volt Starter and Generator, Fuel Filter, Fuel Distributor, Injectors, muffler, Oil Filter, and Mounting Frame. The "hole circle" is 18-3/4" diameter and the flywheel is 16-1/2" in diameter with a 13-3/4" diameter centered eight bolt (paired in twos) circle. Measurements for the DIX-4 Engine: Bell Housing to Fan Hub - 32", Center line to bottom of engine - 9", Width overall - 31" Height overall - 30", Bell Housing to Cooling Fan 34" L. This engine has been turned over but not run tested and is offered with "no reserve", "as-is". The shipping weight is 887 lbs. and we will get the freight cost for the winning bidder.
