We offer (subject to prior sale) a used 40.5 HP Hercules 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine Model DIX-4D for sale. This engine can develop plenty of power for your application, convert existing equipment from gasoline to diesel, or replace that tired Generator Set engine.
It is equipped with a 24 volt Starter and Generator, Fuel Filter, Fuel Distributor, Fuel Injectors, Oil Filter, Muffler, Fan, and Mounting Frame. The "hole circle" is 18-3/4" diameter and the flywheel is 16-1/2" in diameter with a 13-3/4" diameter centered eight bolt (paired in twos) circle.

This engine has been turned-over but not actually started and is offered "as-is", at this very low price of $850.00 - FOB our Chicago Dock.
