We offer a used 40.5 HP Hercules 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine Model D1X-4D for sale. This engine can develop plenty of power for your application, convert existing equipment from gasoline to diesel, or replace that tired Generator Set engine. It is equipped with a Fuel Filter, Fuel Injectors, Oil Filter, and Mounting Frame. It has no Muffler, Generator, Generator bracket, Starter, Thermostat, or Fan. The "hole circle" is 18-3/4" diameter and the flywheel is 16-1/2" in diameter with a 13-3/4" diameter centered eight bolt (paired in twos) circle. Measurements for the DIX-4 Engine: Bell Housing to Fan Hub - 32" Center line to bottom of engine - 9" Width - 27" Height overall - 30". This engine has not been tested and is being offered "as-is" "where-is", at this very low price of $501.00 - FOB our Joliet, Illinois Dock. We're still trying to get the actual weight of the engine, but we believe it to be between 600 and 800 lbs.
