Davey Diesel Compressor MC-1A

We have a few used ex-military Davey Diesel 3500 PSI 15 CFM, Air Compressors available that are sold "as-is". These units were used in support of a  series of military applications. The compressor speed at rated capacity is 1800 RPM, with a brake power requirement of 16 HP,  and a 100% duty cycle. The units use an air type "aftercooler" and "intercooler".The compressor design is "single acting".

The device is protected by a "high temperature" shutdown switch, a "low pressure" shutdown switch, along with a "below pressure cutout". Further, it has an automotive speed regulator and mechanical hand brakes. It is pulled via a pintle hitch and maximum speed for improved roads is 25 MPH; 10 MPH for unimproved roads. The receiver tank capacity is 500 cubic feet. There is one Intake connection and one Discharge connection. These units are shipped via truck and weigh about 2050 lbs..
