This seat can be used in any vehicle such as a car, van, motor home, RV, boat, truck, Go-Cart, garage, etc, where the available seat base mounting space is 13" deep (front-to-rear) by 15" wide (side-to-side). The seat cushion is actually a very comfortable 17" deep by 21" wide.

The seat is exactly as shown; posh and comfortable. The upholstery is an embossed gray vinyl (although the seats appear to be a bluish color in the photos) that will not betray dirt. There is a two-wire connector for detecting whether the seat belt is connected.

The head rest adjusts up and down approximately 3-1/2" for proper positioning or it can be removed completely. The seat fully reclines for total creature comfort during those road breaks, via a round control knob on the left side.

The seat belt socket is on the right hand side of each seat. When used in the passenger area of Vans, Boats, Cars, Motor Homes, etc., your seat belt is installed to correspond to the location of the seat belt socket. When the seat is used in the front of a vehicle the seat becomes a driver-side seat (depending on the flexibility of your seat belt attachments) because of seat belt socket placement. A horizontal hand control lever at the front allows the seat to be adjusted backward and forward.

The seat has a unique design that eliminates the need to chase down "sliding seat mounting brackets"; the slide mechanism is built into the bottom of the seat.

Another unique feature of the seat is a easily detachable, 7-3/8" high, four bolt base unit that measures at the bottom 13" long x 15" wide and at the top 17" long x 15" wide. There are four reinforced holes in the bottom of the base unit through which four bolts easily secure the seat to the floor. The holes attaching the seat to the base are on centers of 15" across (width) by 15-5/16" lengthwise (front to rear). The holes attaching the base to the floor are on centers of 13-1/4" across by 11-1/4" lengthwise.

The seat can be installed directly to the floor via the built-in slide rails or with the 7-3/8" high base unit attached. Overall dimensions with the base unit attached: 24" deep x 21" wide x 34.5" high.
